Business Administration

 The Department of Business Administration was started in the year 2018. The department is essentially for the undergraduate teaching with a sanctioned strength of 50 students and a total of 6 sanctioned teaching posts. The department of Business Administration is now affiliated to Mother Teresa Women’s University with the objective To Educate, enlighten and empower the students so as to elevate the society by satisfying the Local and National needs. The department has earned its reputation in women education. At the department level planning and monitoring is done by the head of the department as per the instructions of the principal. Consistent with the college goals and objectives, the academic and routine activities of the department are planned well in advance . All the activities are time bound and subject to verification. The administrative activities are highly decentralized and the principal delegates the work down the line through the heads of the Department. The heads of the department in turn delegate the work among the faculty members for execution. Participation of the Heads of the department in the important decisions related to college is a regular feature of our college. Similarly, the department council meetings play a key role where in all the faculty members sit together and take common decisions. Different in charges like class incharge , tutor incharge, alumini incharge , seminar incharge, industrial visits incharge, business club incharge, and library incharge   are allotted on rotation basis .The class committee meetings, tutor system and the grievance redressal cell play a major role in the academic and psychological development of the department.

Transparency being an important element of an ideal management, it is followed meticulously both at the college level as well as the department level. Wherever necessary students are involved and kept informed. There exists a Parents Teachers Association (PTA) at the college level where common issues are attended.
